All-Ukrainian Association of Martial Arts Combat Self-Defense ISO was registered on November 26, 2015. It consists of 24 separate units: Kyiv, Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Vinnytsia, Volyn, Transcarpathian, Zaporizhia, Donetsk, Kirovohrad, Poltava, Mykolaiv, Odessa, Rivne, Ivano-Frankivsk, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, Zhytomyr, Lviv, Kherson, Khmelnytskyi, Kharkiv, Ternopil, Chernivtsi, Luhansk regions. The activities of the association are carried out in accordance with the program for the development of the sport of combat self-defense ISO approved by the board of the organization, the calendar plan of sports events of Ukraine and regulatory documents of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine.

The Association has the status of “National” in accordance with the order of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine dated September 29, 2021. Athletes compete in three sections: light, heavy and full contact, which combine 30 types of martial arts (such as boxing, Thai boxing, kickboxing, K-1, mixed martial arts, wrestling).

The Association cooperates with the international sports federation INTERNATIONAL COMBAT ORGANISATION, which was established in 2009 and includes more than 40 countries, headquarters in Birmingham, Great Britain, website of the international sports federation https://www.icocombat.org.uk/. The main goal of the Association is to create conditions for the development of the sport of combat self-defense ISO in Ukraine, both as a mass and applied sport for all age groups of the population, including the disabled, and as a sport of higher achievements. The activities of the Association are carried out in accordance with the program for the development of the sport of combat self-defense ISO, the calendar plan of sports events of Ukraine, regulatory documents of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine and the agreement on cooperation in the development of the sport of combat self-defense ISO.

1st team place – European Championship on December 17-19, 2021 in Zalaegerszeg, Hungary. The national team consists of 63 athletes who won 122 medals among 570 participants from 15 countries;
2nd team place – World Championship on October 14-16, 2022 in Nagykanizsa, Hungary. The national team consists of 90 athletes who won 124 medals among 752 participants from 20 countries;
1st team place – European Championship on May 19-20, 2023 in Nagykanizsa, Hungary. The national team consists of 48 athletes who won 122 medals among 464 participants from 14 countries;
3rd team place – World Championship on October 19-22, 2023 in Hull, Great Britain. The national team consists of 36 athletes who won 63 medals among 833 participants from 27 countries;
1st team place – European Championship April 12-14, 2024 in Nagykanizsa, Hungary. The national team consists of 109 athletes who won 154 medals among 322 participants from 13 countries;
2nd team place – World Championship October 10-13, 2024 in Frankfurt am Main, Federal Republic of Germany The national team consists of 105 athletes who won 202 medals among 1121 participants from 32 countries;
1st team place – European Championship October 10-13, 2024 in Catania, Sicily, Republic of Italy. The national team consists of 92 athletes who won 135 medals among 657 participants from 18 countries.
