On May 9-12, 2018, the Combat Self-Defense International Combat Organization World Cup was held. 1,085 athletes from 44 countries took part in the competition.
The Ukrainian team was represented by 15 athletes (representatives of the Maximus Sports Complex, Kyiv, Dzhubat Sports Complex, Baryshivka, Nadiya Sports Complex, Kyiv, Oleksandr Sports Complex, Kryvyi Rih, and athletes from Ternovka and Dnipro). The team was headed by the head coach of the Combat Self-Defense International Martial Arts Association, international judge, vice-president of the All-Ukrainian Association of Martial Arts “Combat Self-Defense” – Slipchenko Oleksandr Volodymyrovych.
According to the results of the competition, the UKRAINIAN TEAM took 1st TEAM PLACE among adults at the 2018 WORLD CUP (Rhodes Island, Greece) and 2nd team places among juniors and young men!
