December 13, 2025, in the city of Zaporizhzhia, the ICO Combat Self-Defense Cup took place, bringing together the strongest athletes from various regions of Ukraine. The Poltava region was proudly represented at this prestigious competition by the sports club “Gepard” (Poltava), which fielded a team of 16 athletes.

The fighters competed in the disciplines of Combat Thai Boxing (Muay Thai), K-1, and Low Combat, demonstrating a high level of preparation, determination, and sporting excellence.

Results of the SC “Gepard” (Poltava) team performance:

• 9 gold medals
• 7 silver medals
• 5 bronze medals
• 3rd team place

Special recognition goes to Ivan Dudnyk, who in the up to 60 kg weight category won the Cup, achieving victories in three challenging bouts. The Best Technique Cup was awarded to Dmytro Bondar.
