On August 29, Ukraine marked the Day of Remembrance of the Defenders of Ukraine. On this day, the 9th All-Ukrainian Patriotic Run “I Honor the Warriors, I Run for the Heroes of Ukraine” was held in Uzhhorod.

Athletes from the Zakarpattia branch of “Combat Samozakhyst ICO”, together with their coach Roman Mytrovtsi, joined this important patriotic initiative.

The run provided an opportunity to honor the memory of Ukrainian heroes who gave their lives defending Ukraine’s freedom and independence, while also demonstrating unity, gratitude, and respect for those who have defended and continue to defend the country.

For the athletes of “Combat Samozakhyst ICO”, participation in such events is an important part of patriotic education and a way to preserve the memory of the defenders whose courage and sacrifice have become an integral part of Ukraine’s history.

We thank our defenders, both women and men, for their courage, strength, and dedication to Ukraine.
